We are a family run business started by my husband Malcolm, and myself, Jenny Baker 26 years ago. We started with a few sofas and have now become one of the largest furniture outlets in the South East.
As a company we pride ourselves on excellent customer service and after sales care. Although showing upholstery and furniture covering all styles for all ages, the elderly are particularly cared for as we display care recliners and adjustable beds. Thorndale also offers a free delivery service by our own staff.
Our Staff
Sales
Clive is the Manager; he has been with the company for 19 years and is very experienced in the trade. He and Shaun, the Salesman, are both able to help customers to make the right choice when purchasing their furniture. Both of them are most willing to offer informed advice on anything throughout our vast range when you aren't too sure which option is the best for you.
Office Management
Sharon is part of our office team answering as many questions over the phone as able. She is a valued part of the team dealing with paperwork and will also help customers on the shop floor if needed.
General Staff
Paul and Liz are also on hand to help and deal with the general running of the business.
Delivery
David is our main man for deliveries. He will deliver with a smile and help with putting things in the right place. He will take away all the rubbish and stay for a cup of tea (if offered).
